Phase to Phase is specialized in the development of practical calculation software for electricity transmission and distribution networks. Since 1991 utilities, industrial concerns and consulting companies rely on our products for planning, design and management of electricity networks.
The massive introduction of windmills, solar power, electric cars and dispersed combined heat and power in distribution networks makes the design and management of these networks more complex.
Since the size of distribution networks is so much larger than transmission networks it’s not possible to use the same automation techniques. The number of measurements from nodes, substations and clients is simply too high. More than anything a smart grid therefore requires smart data processing and management. Besides electrotechnical and ICT knowledge, mathematical expertise is becoming increasingly important.
Phase to Phase is working on advanced mathematical models to analyze and interpret real time measurement data.
