About Phase to Phase
Phase to Phase is established in the year 2001 in order to concentrate on the software development. Before that moment the activities in the field of Vision and Gaia were carried out as contract research. Since the first version of Vision, in the year 1991, many things have changed in the software. At this moment Phase to Phase's customers are electricity distribution companies, electricity production companies, industry, engineering companies, technical schools and universities.
What does Phase to Phase do?
Nowadays Phase to Phase focuses on our standard software in the Vision Power Range. Furthermore Phase to Phase also develops tailor made software and projects. The tailor made software concerns data conversion to Vision network data files and consultancy on connection with and integration in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Phase to Phase also organizes courses and introductions around the use of the software in the user’s practice. At this moment Phase to Phase is involved with several projects. One project concerns the automatically location of short circuits in medium voltage distribution networks. In this project the standard software is combined with a knowledge base. An other project concerns the development of a “Pseudo Monitor”, where the standard software, combined with extensive knowledge on load behavior, is used as a state estimator for medium voltage distribution networks.

The drive behind Phase to Phase is the possibility to deploy innovative solutions. These innovative solutions are implemented into the standard software and into the projects. All customers have a growing cost awareness that motivates the network calculation activities on a larger scale. This implies that the products must have a low threshold. This is why all products from Phase to Phase are initiated from the user’s practice.
