Totally new Vision Grid Navigator: faster, sleeker, more user-friendly

The completely renewed version of Vision Grid Navigator is now available for all users. Vision Grid Navigator connects calculation results from Vision Network Analysis and Gaia LV Network Design with geographical information systems, allowing users to navigate their networks intuitively. The application displays all network elements and calculation results in their precise locations on the map.

We have rebuilt Vision Grid Navigator from scratch. Users can now benefit from an improved user interface, a faster graphic engine, and more tailor-made options. The fully renewed Vision Grid Navigator is available in the download portal.

Improved user interface

The revised and improved user interface makes it much easier to view and edit your networks. Functions have been arranged more logically and are accessible wherever and whenever you need them. You can now add an MSR station, a cable, or a new cable route at the click of a mouse, and see the results immediately. And inputting and displaying the results of load flow and profile calculation are now much easier.

Faster graphic engine

The graphical display in the new Vision Grid Navigator is much more detailed thanks to the use of the powerful Vulkan engine. Navigation and zooming in and out on geographical maps are quick and smooth in all displays. Thanks to the improved resolution of eight centimeters per pixel, you can now pinpoint the geographical locations of cables, sleeves, and other elements with high accuracy. The engine immediately shows calculation results in the graphical display.

More tailor-made options

This new version of Vision Grid Navigator offers a wide range of new options to adapt the display to your own requirements. For example, you can change the cable routes in your network more easily. Or add your own background layers to the geographical display, for instance your own drawings in Shapefile format (AutoCad to come soon…). Do you have any additional requirements? Thanks to the open architecture of Vision Grid Navigator, we can realize additional tailor-made adaptations for you really quickly.

For Vision NA – Gaia coming soon

This new Vision Grid Navigator works with Vision Network Analysis. Please note that some functions may work differently than you are used to. Read What’s New for an overview of all the changes made.

Our Gaia users will have to have to be patient a little longer – we’re working hard on the implementation for Gaia!
